Our adventure began on the 30th of January. We woke up early in the morning and made the long journey by car to Seattle. The kids did great in the car, only have to stop a few times for potty breaks. I don't know who had to stop more, the kids or daddy! We were met in Seattle by Grandpa & Grandma Sanders. We checked out the gigantic mall in Renton and then went to dinner at an italian buffet.
The next morning brought us a ride on the light rail which the kids thought was a blast. We took it downtown and walked the pier. Pikes Place market was awesome but we were disappointed that they weren't throwing the fish since they were under construction...BUMMER! And of course I forgot the camera in the hotel room.
But on the bright side. I treated myself to an adorable hat and what trip to the boardwalk would be complete without a visit to Ye Olde Curiosity Shop to look at some weird stuff and a trip to Ivar's for some fish & chips....Dee-Lish! Then it was back to our hotel room to pack up and get ready for our early morning departure to Chicago!
